In 2014, reports positioned Stockholm as <strong>the 2nd most important city\u00a0in Europe<\/strong> behind London and before Amsterdam with <strong>15 investments, representing roughly 260 million dollars<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Two big names have contributed to shape the Swedish Fintech ecosystem : <strong>Klarna and iZettle<\/strong>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.klarna.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Klarna<\/strong><\/a>, a start-up that provides <strong>e-commerce payment solutions for merchants and shoppers<\/strong> has raised <strong>125 million dollars<\/strong> from big investment funds\u00a0such as Sequoia Capital or\u00a0General Atlantic. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.izettle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iZettle<\/a><\/strong>, a <strong>mobile payment company<\/strong>, has raised more than <strong>55 million dollars<\/strong> from prestigious investment funds such as Greylock partners, Santander Innoventures or Northzone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However,\u00a0the swedish Fintech market is not restricted to these 2 companies. The ecosystem is very robust and more and more swedish Fintechs are attracting investment funds&#8217; eyes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the chart below, we can notice that NFT Ventures, a <strong>stockholm-based investment funds<\/strong>, is the most active VC fund in Sweden in number of deals. The fund has invested in almost 15 Fintechs from <strong>lending to payment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We are glad to introduce you our\u00a0list of the 6 most active VC funds in Fintech in Sweden :<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Below is a list of fintech\u00a0start-ups that\u00a0communicated their fundraising to the public.
