In 2016, we account\u00a0a bit more than <strong>80 fintech start-ups in Brazil. <\/strong>The market is huge and targets\u00a0<strong>40%\u00a0of the population who don&#8217;t have access yet to traditional banking services. In addition,\u00a0<\/strong>the <strong>mobile penetration rate<\/strong> is among the highest in the world with 115% (<strong>very closed to the mobile penetration rate of\u00a0Africa\u00a0: 133%<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among the 3 biggest investment made to Brazilian Fintechs, we find :<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nubank.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NuBank<\/a><\/strong>, a neobank that\u00a0raised almost 100 million dollars since 2013,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.guiabolso.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"broken_link\"><strong>Guia Bolso<\/strong><\/a>, a platform that help people manage their\u00a0savings, that raised 7 million dollars since 2012<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bankfacil.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"broken_link\">Bankfacil<\/a><\/strong>, a lending platform between individuals, that raised 4.4 million dollars since 2012<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[divider] Top 7 VC funds in Fintech in Brazil [\/divider]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Below is a list of fintech start-ups that communicated their fundraising to the public.
