It is estimated that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.finextra.com\/blogposting\/13073\/fintech-innovation-in-the-b2b-space-has-only-just-begun\" class=\"broken_link\">B2B revenues in 2020 will be double those of B2C<\/a>. One of the reason that can explain such a gap is the fact that &#8220;the\u00a0B2B sector demands maturity and stability&#8221; as stated by currencycloud, a B2B money transfer company.<\/p>\n<p>Reports show that 2017 will be the year for the rise of B2B Fintech with more and more start-ups now positionning on\u00a0a B2B model in the\u00a0investments space, asset management, crowdfunding or\u00a0payment sector, according to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.consultancy.uk\/news\/12840\/two-thirds-of-european-fintech-startups-eye-strong-revenue-growth\"><strong>recent study<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0published by Roland Berger.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Techfoliance will introduce you B2B Fintech start-ups that you may have never heard of but yet well positioned to shake the financial\u00a0industry.<\/p>\n<h3>IDnow: identification in the digital age<\/h3>\n<h4>The story<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.idnow.eu\/\"><strong>IDnow<\/strong><\/a> is a Munich-based B2B Fintech that has developed a proprietary technology to allow companies to identify clients in real time via video chat. Launched in 2014 by Armin Bauer, Sebastian B\u00e4rhold, Dennis v. Ferenczy and Felix Haas the company now has more than 100 employees and operates in many countries across Europe.<\/p>\n<h4>The product<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"IDnow VideoIdent Mobile B2C (English)\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hdrPq3G29UY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>IDnow <strong>Video-Ident<\/strong> can check the identity of customers<strong> in about 4 minutes <\/strong>as explained in the video above. The algorithm is able to\u00a0detect fake copies of documents\u00a0<strong>and ident specialists<\/strong> are also assisting in the fraud detection, both in-house and through call-centers dedicated to IDnow.\u00a0The company also launched IDnow eSign last year to secure contracts online.<\/p>\n<p>More than 130 clients in the\u00a0<strong>banking, Fintech <\/strong>and telco industry are currently using its\u00a0products, with top names like N26, Solaris Bank, Savedo, Smava, Fidor bank, UBS or Commerzbank.<\/p>\n<h4>Ambition matrix<\/h4>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Its ambition is to become a market leader <strong>in Europe<\/strong>. The company is also planning to expand to <strong>France\u00a0in 2017<\/strong>.
