It seems very interesting to actually see how UK is a very dominating country what comes to Fintech, to consider that the rest of Europe is quite lacking behind in this direction, considering Germany being number 2 in the list, however not having even half of the companies of those from UK.
There is another really cool and interesting article talking about the best fintech startups in Europe:
https://valuer.ai/blog/best-fintech-startups-in-europe/
I can not talk for uk or germany but i can testify that the most valuables french fintech are not in this list. What about nickel, october, leetchi, qonto etc…These are the reigning stars and the most valuable fintech in France so i can hardly understand they absence.
Hi,
Thank you for your comment!
The most valued french Fintech are appearing: Ledger, PayFit, Alan, Younited Credit, etc.
According to our estimates, Qonto or Leetchi are not exceeding 250M$ in valuation.
As per Nickel, it has been bought by BNPP for around 200M€. Finally, there is not enough data on October to argue that the valuation exceeds 250M$.
Would love to hear from you if you have any insider data on these companies.
Best regards,
INVYO Team
